The Five Senses of Modern Architecture
As part of BUILD EXPO 2026, the Hellenic Institute of Architecture (HIA) presents the conference “The Five Senses of Contemporary Architecture.”
Each speaker will present a signature project, exploring the materials, construction methods and design decisions behind it, while examining how the senses shape both the creative process and the experience of space.
Local and international materials, sensory perception, craftsmanship, precision in detailing and contemporary design thinking come together to foster a meaningful dialogue on architecture as a multisensory experience.
