Greek Energy Efficiency Programme is expected to be commissioned in October, for the energy upgrade of more than 50,000 homes. The program is expected to contribute to the goal of the National Plan for Energy and Climate for the total energy upgrade of 600,000 buildings by 2030.

The total budget of the new programme amounts to 632 million euros through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan and together with the leverage, funds of over 1 billion euros will be mobilized. The average estimated subsidy reaches 62% of the total cost, while it is expected that 38% more homes will be energy upgraded compared to the previous cycle of the programme.
